MR BINH
INSTRUMENTS: Lead Keyboard, Saxaphone, Guitar
LIKES: Wife and family, being at home, cooked meals and writing music and easy going people.
DISLIKES: Difficult people
Mr Binh started playing musical instruments since the age of 10 and playing the keyboard comes naturally to him.  He has a very sensitive ear and can pick up notes and tunes very easily.  The master of the keyboard, Mr Binh started his music career in Vietnam where he has toured with many bands and also took part in composing backup singers for many famous Vietnamese and Phillipine singers.  Today Mr Binh can be found enjoying a cold beer when he is not working.

MR TONY
INSTRUMENTS: Drummer
LIKES: Going out, being around family, hanging out with the kids, playing computer games, meeting new people, travelling, good food!
DISLIKES: Nothing really
Mr Tony has loved his drum kit since he was a little boy attending rock concerts.  His curiosity for the drums lead him to explore the instrument further with many childhood nights even dreaming about the drum beats.  After finishing school, Tony set himself on a mission to work hard and save up enough money to buy himself his first drum kit, which he still remembers to this day.  See him on stage rocking out any drum beats from slow pop rock, funk all the way up to good time rock n roll.  Tony definitely knows how to have fun and gives the stage a buzz feel with his amazing out there beats.

MR SAM
INSTRUMENTS: Bass
LIKES: Being around the family and kids, eating out, listening to Jazz, working at his shop and playing on the computer and tunes with a mad beat!
DISLIKES:  Nosy people
Mr Sam has played music for many bands for over 20 yeas and has also been a part of many other Vietnamese bands during his time playing in the industry.  He loves the ‘bass’ because it sounds so unique and really adds momentum to each song.  Mr Sam loves playing for weddings because he likes to see people smiling and having fun.  ‘It makes you feel so special when you can make a difference and be a part of somebody else’s most memorable day’.

MR MINH
INSTRUMENTS: Guitar
LIKES: A good massage cause I am a masseur too!  Eating out, jamming on the guitar, singing in the shower and being around friends and family.
DISLIKES:  People who snores very loudly and I can’t get to sleep
Mr Minh also known as ‘small ball of energy’ has been playing professionally with his brother Sam for over 20 years as well.  ‘I picked up playing the guitar all by myself from listening to music’ he says.  ‘Music lets me unwind and allows me to get away to a different place when things are hectic’.  Like many of the other band members, Mr Minh is punctual, reliable and an amazing guitar player.  He can play both the electric and normal guitar for both dance music and also acoustics and gets a buzz when he sees a happy crowd yelling out for ‘more!’.

VANESSA (HIEN) AU
Lead Female Singer (Sings in English, Mandarin & Vietnamese)
LIKES: Massages, sleeping in, eating, meeting new people, learning new things, playing on the computer, playing with my beautiful dog, hanging out with my friends, singing and performing, working on new ideas, being able to help others and watching new movies
DISLIKES:  Nagging people, people who don’t get the word ‘no’, spiders and all insects!!!
‘My love for singing began at a very young age while listening to the radio and watching a lot of video clips.  I remember waking up early each weekend to watch RAGE TV and sing along to each tune.  To become a singer was a dream for me and I’m so happy now that I’m able to do something that I’ve always loved to do.  I never actually thought I would become a regular singer in Australia, it was always a hobby at one stage.  Singing brings me joy and it becomes even more special when you see the faces of people light up when you hit a certain note or sing lyrics that people can relate to.  It’s more than just performing at a gig, there’s an emotional connection that I like to have with the audience’.
Vanessa has sung for many bands within the Asian community including The Enterprise, Ngo Chuong, The Eagles, Vien Du and The Blues to name some of the Melbourne Asian bands.  She has also won 1st place in several singing competitions including RMIT Giong Ca Vang Australia, Eastland Talent Competition & Ascot Vale Talent Competition.
She is the band manager for The Pink Cadillac Band, and is a perfectionist at heart and loves to finish not a good job, but an ‘excellent’ job.  She is a professional sales manager in her field with a sharp eye for attention to detail.  Not only does she manages the band, Vanessa also organizes yearly singing community competitions, is the director and founder for Miss Crown Asia Beauty Pageant and the founder for VAU Beauty Australia & Stunning Brides Hair & Make Up where she also leads a team of professional make up and hair artists for weddings and events.
‘I always give my 110% commitment to our gigs and work very closely with the bride and groom to ensure a successful, most memorable day.  If I can assist you with any of the services offered, I would love to hear from you’ – Vanessa Hien Au (0423 431 450)
